Drying Flowers

An easy way to preserve your garden flowers is drying.

Pick the flowers you want to dry, just before they fully mature.

One method is air drying. Strip the leaves from the stem and tie in small bunches. Hang upside-down in a cool, dry place until your flowers are dry, but before they are crispy. You can spray with a silica to further preserve them; which can be purchased at craft stores.
